Navigating insurance can be confusing and very frustrating. In short, Ronan Psychological Associates has agreements with many insurance companies that determines how we are compensated for our services. Knowing about your insurance plan will help us serve you better. Here are some helpful pieces of information that you can get from your insurance provider:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- How much is my copay per session?
- What is my deductible and how much of it has been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

Hourly rates are based on the type of service provided.
Out of Pocket Payments
Clients who chose to pay out of pocket due to not having insurance are solely responsible for the rates mentioned above.
Low Income/Special Needs
For those clients seeking services without insurance coverage, or find themselves unable to afford the cost of treatment, a payment plan can be made on a per-client basis.
Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted. There is a $35 returned check fee for all returned checks.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Clients who need to cancel or miss an appointment should notify our administrative staff at least 24-hours prior to the appointment. Failure to do so could result in a $50.00 cancellation fee.
